Same Day CEREC CrownsIn Chilliwack

Same Day CEREC Crowns Near You

Damaged, weakened, or heavily restored teeth may require additional protection to help maintain their strength and function. Dental crowns are commonly used to cover and protect teeth affected by significant decay, fractures, large fillings, or root canal treatment. With CEREC technology, crowns can often be designed and placed during a single appointment, reducing the need for multiple visits. At Greystone Dental, we provide same day CEREC crowns in Chilliwack for patients who need crown treatment to restore and protect damaged teeth.

Treatment recommendations are based on the condition of the tooth, its function, and your overall oral health needs. If you are considering same day CEREC crowns near you, a consultation can help determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your situation.

What Are Same Day CEREC Crowns

Same day CEREC crowns are digitally developed in the dental clinic, which makes the entire crown process complete in a single visit. Unlike traditional crowns, which often require multiple appointments, CEREC crowns can usually be completed in a single visit.

Same day CEREC crowns may be recommended for:

  • Teeth affected by extensive decay
  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Large existing fillings
  • Worn teeth
  • Teeth following root canal treatment
  • Teeth requiring additional protection

How Same Day CEREC Crowns Work

The process begins with preparing the tooth and capturing detailed digital images of the treatment area. These images are used to design a custom crown that fits the tooth and bite.

Once the crown has been designed, it is fabricated in the dental office and fitted to the tooth during the same appointment. Adjustments may be made as needed before the crown is secured.

Same day CEREC crowns may help restore:

  • Damaged tooth structure
  • Chewing function
  • Tooth strength
  • Appearance of the tooth
  • Bite function
  • Long-term tooth protection

What To Expect During a Same-Day CEREC Crown Consultation

A consultation for a CEREC crown focuses on examining the condition of the affected tooth and determining whether a crown is required. The dentist may examine the tooth, evaluate existing restorations, and review any symptoms that you might be experiencing.

You may also discuss concerns such as tooth fractures, large fillings, discomfort while chewing, or damage that compromises the tooth’s strength. If you are considering same day CEREC crowns near you, a consultation can help you understand the treatment process and what may be involved.

Maintaining Your CEREC Crown

A CEREC crown restores a damaged tooth, and maintaining good oral care habits can help keep the restored tooth and surrounding gums healthy.

Patients may be advised to:

  • Brush and floss every day
  • Attend routine dental exams and dental cleanings
  • Maintain good oral hygiene habits at home

Regular visits to a dentist near you can help evaluate the condition of the crown and identify any concerns affecting the treated tooth.
