New Rules Starting April 2026

The CDCP updated its rules on April 1, 2026. These changes may help make certain treatments easier to process:

  • Immediate Dentures: Some types of complete immediate dentures no longer need special approval.
  • Denture Care: Additional denture liner codes are now available without needing special approval, so we can help keep your dentures comfortable.
  • Scaling Requests: For additional scaling units, documentation requirements may be streamlined, though preauthorization may still be required when treatment exceeds the plan’s frequency limits.
