Composite Fillings Near You

Tooth decay, minor chips, and small areas of damage can affect a tooth’s strength and appearance. When left untreated, these concerns may worsen and require more extensive dental treatment. Composite fillings are commonly used to restore damaged teeth while blending naturally with the surrounding tooth structure. At Greystone Dental, we provide Composite Fillings in Chilliwack for patients experiencing cavities, minor tooth damage, or worn areas of the teeth.

Treatment recommendations are based on the condition of the affected tooth and your overall oral health needs. If you are considering Composite Fillings near you, a dental examination can help determine whether this treatment may be appropriate for your situation.

What Are Composite Fillings

Composite fillings are tooth-coloured restorations that are used to repair teeth affected by decay, minor fractures, or small areas of damage. The filling material is bonded directly to the tooth to restore its shape and function.

Composite fillings may be recommended for:

  • Cavities caused by tooth decay
  • Small chips or fractures
  • Worn tooth surfaces
  • Minor tooth damage
  • Replacing older fillings

We provide composite fillings in Chilliwack to help restore damaged teeth and maintain everyday oral function.

How Composite Fillings Work

To restore a tooth affected by decay or minor damage, a tooth-coloured filling material is placed within the affected area of the tooth. The filling is then shaped to blend with the natural tooth while helping restore its strength, appearance, and normal function.

Composite fillings may help restore:

  • Tooth structure
  • Chewing function
  • Minor tooth damage
  • Areas affected by decay
  • Natural tooth appearance
  • Overall tooth strength

Our dentist in Chilliwack will evaluate the affected tooth and discuss whether a composite filling is the most suitable treatment option.

What To Expect During A Composite Fillings Consultation

During the consultation, the dentist will evaluate the tooth to understand what is causing the problem and whether a composite filling may be appropriate. Digital X-rays may also be reviewed to identify areas of decay, damage, or changes that may not be visible during a visual examination.

You may also discuss concerns such as tooth sensitivity, visible damage, discomfort while chewing, or existing fillings that may need replacement. If you are considering Composite Fillings near you, understanding the condition of the tooth can help determine whether restorative treatment is needed.

Maintaining Your Dental Filling

Composite fillings restore areas of the tooth affected by decay or minor damage. Looking after the treated tooth with proper oral care can help maintain the filling and the surrounding tooth structure.

Patients may be advised to:

  • Brush and floss every day
  • Attend routine dental exams and dental cleanings
  • Report any discomfort to the dentist
  • Follow good oral hygiene practices at home

Regular visits to a dentist near you can help monitor the condition of the filling and identify any concerns before they become more serious.
