Dental Technology Near You

Technology plays an important role in modern dentistry. It can support diagnosis, treatment planning, communication, and restorative procedures while helping dental teams gather detailed information about a patient’s oral health. Advances in dental technology continue to improve the way many dental treatments are planned and delivered. At Greystone Dental, we use dental technology in Chilliwack to support different aspects of patient care.

The technology used during treatment depends on your oral health needs and the type of care being provided. If you are looking for a clinic that utilizes dental technology near you, our team uses modern systems to assist with treatment planning and restorative dental procedures.

How Dental Technology Supports Patient Care

Dental technology is used throughout many stages of dental care, from evaluating oral health concerns to planning treatment and creating restorations.

Dental technology may be used to support:

  • Oral health assessments
  • Treatment planning
  • Restorative procedures
  • Patient education
  • Monitoring oral health changes
  • Improving treatment efficiency

We offer dental technology in Chilliwack to support a wide range of dental treatments, helping improve treatment planning, restorative care, and overall patient experience.

CEREC Same Day Crown Technology

One example of dental technology available at our clinic is CEREC same-day crown technology. This system allows custom dental crowns to be designed and created within the dental clinic as part of restorative treatment.

Traditionally, crown treatment often requires more than one appointment. With CEREC technology, the crown can be created during a single visit, depending on the condition of the tooth and the treatment being provided.

CEREC technology may be considered for:

  • Damaged teeth
  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Teeth with large fillings
  • Worn teeth
  • Teeth requiring crown treatment
  • Teeth following root canal treatment

Our dentist in Chilliwack will determine whether CEREC crown treatment may be suitable based on your individual treatment needs.

What To Expect During A Consultation

During your visit, the dentist will review your oral health needs and discuss how dental technology may be incorporated into your treatment. Depending on the reason for your appointment, digital records, diagnostic information, and treatment options may also be reviewed as part of the consultation.

You may discuss concerns such as damaged teeth, restorative treatment needs, tooth wear, or other oral health conditions. If you are searching for a dental clinic that uses modern dental technology near you, a consultation can help you understand how technology may be incorporated into your treatment plan.

Technology And Ongoing Dental Care

Dental technology is one part of maintaining good oral health. Regular dental visits and consistent home care continue to play an important role before, during, and after treatment.

Patients may be advised to:

  • Attend routine dental exams and dental cleanings
  • Maintain good oral hygiene habits at home
  • Report any concerns related to dental treatment

Regular visits to a dentist near you can help monitor your oral health and evaluate the condition of any dental restorations over time.
