Dental Bridges Near You

Losing one or more teeth can affect many aspects of daily life. In addition to changing the appearance of your smile, missing teeth may make it more difficult to chew certain foods, speak clearly, or maintain proper spacing between the remaining teeth. Replacing missing teeth can help restore oral function and support the health of the surrounding teeth. A dental bridge is a commonly used treatment option for filling gaps caused by tooth loss. At Greystone Dental, we provide dental bridges in Chilliwack for patients seeking a solution for missing teeth.

Treatment recommendations are based on the location of the missing teeth and overall oral health. If you are exploring dental bridges near you, a consultation can help evaluate your needs and determine whether a bridge is a suitable tooth-replacement option.

What Are Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a tooth replacement option that is used to fill the space left by one or more missing teeth. It is supported by the teeth on either side of the space to help keep it securely in place.

Dental bridges may be recommended for:

  • One or more missing teeth
  • Speech changes due to missing teeth
  • Restoring daily oral function
  • Replacing gaps in the smile

We provide dental bridges in Chilliwack to help patients restore function and replace missing teeth.

How Dental Bridges Replace Missing Teeth

A dental bridge is made to fill the space left by missing teeth. It includes replacement teeth that are supported by the neighbouring teeth on either side of the gap.

Dental bridges may help support:

  • Chewing efficiency
  • Speaking ability
  • Tooth positioning
  • Bite balance
  • Smile appearance
  • Daily oral function

Our dentist in Chilliwack will evaluate your oral health and discuss whether a dental bridge may be suitable for your needs.

During Your Dental Bridge Consultation

The consultation for a dental bridge focuses on understanding the effects of tooth loss and evaluating the condition of the surrounding teeth and gums. The dentist will review your oral health and discuss any challenges you may be experiencing as a result of missing teeth.

Topics discussed may include difficulty chewing, changes in tooth alignment, gaps in the smile, or available tooth replacement options. If you are considering dental bridges near you, the consultation can help you better understand the treatment process and expected considerations.

Maintaining Your Dental Bridge

A dental bridge depends on healthy teeth and gums for support. Regular brushing, flossing, and routine dental visits can help keep the bridge and the surrounding teeth and gums healthy.

Patients may be advised to:

  • Brush and floss every day
  • Clean around the bridge as instructed
  • Attend routine dental exams and cleanings
  • Maintain consistent oral hygiene habits at home

Regular visits to a dentist near you can help assess the condition of the bridge and monitor the health of the supporting teeth.
